How about a Yamaha Mike Stern

Thin neck (though 7.5" radius), very plain looking and can produce some big rock tones.

Perhaps not Les Paul like, but you would be looking at something mohog to get that. The other option is a Fender Jim Root which has a 12" radius, but isn't all that skinny.

I thought the very same thing. Build quality is good as you would expect from Yamaha, and they can sometimes be picked up for silly money second hand.

    Godin LGXT

    Teleish looks
    Thin compound radius neck
    Coil taps
    LR Baggins system
    Even has Roland Synth access
Can blend electric + acoustic and synth (I think) and other variations of this.

Or the Ibanez mentioned a few pages back

and as always I really dont get why no one raves about Godin guitars on here.

I know it's slightly different, but it seems to have the versatility I'm after, and is at a rather ludicrous price currently... (I think it is...)

Is this genuine? It's impossible for me to try out unfortunately, but I thought these guitars were 2k + when new? I can't make sense of the serial number either

If it's too good to be true... The truss rod cover & tuners didn't look right to me to be honest. Oh well!
