Hello Chaps . . . It me again Mark from just outside Manchester
Im looking for a trade for my 2008 USA Fender Standard Stratocaster in Pewter / Gunmetal
Grey with a Maple Neck for a similar value USA Telecaster.
Its fitted with a white Overdrive Custom Guitar Works pickguard based on the
current Dave Gilmour Custom Guitar Shop Black Stratocaster setup.
The previous owner was a MASSIVE Pink Floyd & David Gilmour FAN.
He bought the guitar from new then spent over £400 on the upgrade.
The Overdrive Custom pickguard is fitted with a Fender Custom Shop Fat 50's Neck Pickup,
a Fender Custom Shop 69 Middle Pickup & a Seymour Duncan SSL5 Bridge Pickup.
It also has the Mini Toggle Switch that is fitted UNDER the scratcplate, exactly as
Dave Gilmours Custom Shop Guitar. The mini toggle switch brings the Neck pickup on.
This gives you Neck & Bridge together and also allows you to turn all three pickups on at once.
The guitar is in pretty much mint condition and has no major dings or unsightly surface blemishes.
There is one tiny tiny mini paint chip just under the bridge where the trem assembly touches
the body which I originally missed . .
The Overdrive Custom Gilmour Setup cost over £400 to purchase & install and its amazing.
My guitar comes with the Fender / SKB Flight Case PLUS it also has the shortened DG tremolo as well as the standard length tremolo . . .
It was recently setup by the Manchester Guitar Technician so its absolutely spot on.
This is an amazing guitar and a "must have " for any Floyd fan.

I'm stunned by the prices of the bits for the DG conversion from that site - I mean David's original guitar just has a bent bit of metal inside it, with a hole cut in the plate and elongated with a rat tail file and a 99p mini switch. They're asking $35 for the bracket and the switch!
Nowhere near as stunned as me ! ! ! . . . . like I mentioned in my advert the guy I bought the guitar
from paid well over £400 for the complete assembly . . . Sounds amazing though ! ! !
