Default Any plumbers here familiar with glow worm boilers?

I've taken it upon myself to do a job I have no idea how to do

I've got a flexicom cx24 combi boiler with the glide down analogue timer. The timer has stopped working, the on/off switch work but the dial doesn't go round. So I've bought a climapro programmable room thermostat. It's a two wire connection and should be really simple but I've no idea where to wire it to the boiler.
The instructions show how to wire it but not what to wire it too.
I've searched the web for ages but can't find any info, just hoping maybe someone on here may be able to give me a clue.

    Thanks people

Never mind I've found the electrical cartridge, I just need to work out how to get it out. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with the existing analogue timer though.

Cheers chillidoggy. I'm sure I shouldn't be doing this myself, it's gonna end in tears.
