Default NGD....not exactly what I was asking about on my other thread...

So, my other thread was asking about Fender VG Strats and Variax JTVs as I play in a covers band as was trying to get a million guitar sounds in one. This is not quite that, and quite unexpected GAS.

A couple of days ago, I was sat at work minding my own business, when bing bong of my phone. A text message....off a friend of mine who plays as Ronnie Woodentop in The Rolling Zones (shameless plug for them there!). It went something like this....

"Ere mate, I picked up a bargain off eBay yesterday..a Fender USA Nashville B-bender Tele..was a bargain price etc etc"

"Oh right" I say, "sounds cool, can't wait to see/ hear it"

"Yeh, however, it means I need to sell my Baja Tele to fund it. Sunburst with maple neck, interested?"

"Yes yes yes" was the reply!

So, long story short, I popped over this morning to have a play....pretty much mint, 2011 I think, S1 switching which I guess you all know about, but seems to give it a few more options. Cracking guitar. Deal done. Home.

Plugged it into my Lionheart, just fantastic, how did I not get one of these before?! Will try and upload pics later, but just wanted to let you all know!

That's well nice, but would look even better after a few years of treating it like crap.
Fender 1997 California Series Strat, Fender CP 50s Strat, Fender 50th Anniversary MIJ '52 Tele, Fender Std Tele (being refinished)
All through a VOX VT20+, stomp boxes = redundant.

Thanks guys. Yeh, it is a bit shiney at the moment, hopefully I'll be keeping it for a while so the beat up look may be a possibility!

That's nice. It's one I've been thinking of getting too. How's the neck?

Sweet Jesus. I always loved the baja but have always seen them in blonde. Which I hate.

That looks absolutely gorgeous. Just rough it up by playing it for a few years and generally not being careful with it and boom!
