Default warning old country songs !

Back in the 90`s I was playing in a country band, and we decided to do a demo cd to get gigs and maybe sell etc.
As usual money is tight, so we booked studio for one night to make a 12 song CD
Got there at 6pm, and finished at 12pm. did a rough mix then a week later redid a solo on one song and a final mix.
well these are 3 of the songs, see if you can tell the guitars used ?
and all guitars were played through a Fender s/f twin reverb (135w model) or a Fender s/f Princeton reverb .
on Guitar town, listen at 17seconds for buzz from semi acoustic had to play the guitar whilst nodding to engineer when to mute and unmute it, due to so much noise !
see if you can tell Princeton from twin !

These all sound great(even with the buzz-seems to be only in the right speaker on the first song). Thats gotta be a tele pulling off the faux steel guitar licks in the solo in "Hearts at the Lost & Found". "Past the Point of Rescue" has a nice Charlie Daniels vibe, you guys sounded as country as it gets.

Wow, impressive stuff. The singer reminds me of a young Billy Joe Shaver ( I don't know two of the songs so they could be Shaver ones?).
I had in my head that there was a baritone part on Guitar Town, although haven't heard it in yonks and your version sounds right. I can hear bits of humm but I don't know if I would have realized had you not said.

Billy Joe's son Eddie (RIP) was a phenomenal guitarist. He was a bit pre everything being on youtube but he played mandolin and slide as well as some SRV meets country licks.

Great clip of Eddie, nice player, died way too young.
I have played quite a few BJS songs over the years including that one, though the Waylon Jennings version.
as for the Buzz, I was hoping for a big Gretsch tone, but the pickups were very thin cheapies on a guitar that i bought for a fiver !
its a dropped D which gives it the bottom. Thanks for compliments, my singer will be chuffed, its still the same guy I use now, only we mainly do bluesy stuff.
