The fact that Ola shows what his raw guitar tracks sound like and shows what EQ curves he's using is very useful though. It shows that a lot of metal relies on post EQ to get the tone, and also gives a good reference point for raw tracks when choosing mic position. I've definitely learned stuff from his videos, even if he's dialing in the opposite to what I go for most times.
