Not looking to trade but have a free bump for some quirky and fantastic guitars. Have you played a cobain jag as its a different beast to the jagstang. I own the jag and it is a great guitar but im quite attached to the stangs. For what its worth I stupidly sold a fsr blacktop jaguar that has the exact same neck as the kc jag and was a better player.
Yeah I tried out a Cobain Jag a little while ago down Denmark Street. Absolutely loved it, just felt like I was playing an old Jaguar. The neck somewhat reminded me of the Jagstang necks, which was a nice surprise.
I own the jag coz 1 its a damn nice guitar and 2 in a huge cobain fan but....if I had two lovely stangs i'd be tempted to sell one and buy one of the FSR blacktop jag's and lightly sand the back of the neck, honestly it plays just as good has none of the tuning issues with the tom bridge and jag trem and it feels the same, you get to keep a stang and now have a great playing jag its win win!
The lack of trem makes the blacktop Jaguars useless for me and a Bigsby is just too limited (with regards to the rotation of the arm). Same thing with the Jagstangs/Mustangs, I just cannot get them setup how I'd like (I like a nice wobble and I can only make them dive-bomb).
