For what it is worth, try not to equate 'price' and 'value'. The purchase price is IMHO only a small part of the story. If a guitar feels "right" in your hands and "sounds" right when plugged into your rig, it is the "right" guitar for you. No matter how much or little it costs. No matter what name is on the headstock. Always remember that if you expect to spend £600 on a guitar and end up spending £850 on the "right" guitar, in a few years you will have completely forgotten the price and you can look forward to a lifetimes enjoyment from the instrument.

G&L Legacy Tribute. Bargain price at just over £400 new, whilst they're manufactured in the East, the hardware, electrics and pickups are the same as the USA models. I bought one off Tenebrous on here as a bit of a punt, and I was immediately converted. In fact, at £400, buying the hardware separately from G&L (which you can on their website) will cost more than the entire guitar. The pickups are amazing, and have a proper Strat sound.
