Up for sale/trade is my PRS Special 22 in Sea Foam Green.
It's based off of the Swamp Ash Specials that PRS did before the Narrowfields came out but this has a Mahogany Body/Maple top instead of just a Swamp Ash Body.
Made in 2010. Mahogany Back/Maple Top, 22 Frets, Wide/Fat Neck Carve, Rosewood Fingerboard, PRS Tremolo, PRS Locking tuners, Moon Inlays, PRS SC 245 in the Neck, Lindy Fralin in the Middle, PRS SC 245 in the Bridge. 5 way blade, 1 volume, 1 tone.
Condition wise I'd say this is an 8 out of 10. There are a few minor marks on the back which are hard to photo but the two minor flaws are the little chip in the trem cavity and the scrape on the back of the neck near the 1st fret.
The scrap isn't that major and I personally don't feel it when I'm playing it, the action is a little high, has hybrid strings but these are minor adjustments.
I have re-fitted the tremolo cover and it has the hang-tag/case candy etc.
Photostream is here. Some of the pics had the flash on so it looks brigther than it is.
Price wise, I paid £1,500 for this new and with the marks/bumps taken in to account I'd like £925 delivered on this. Would be via insured courier which would be UPS and it would be for the insured value.
Trades wise: I'm looking for an American Tele, this can be G&L/Fender etc. Swamp Ash would be preferred, Maple/Rosewood fingerboards I'm not fussed, No baseball bat necks but not shred thin either.
Hit me up with what you have.
Can come down and have a viewing if you'd like, I'm at Uxbridge just off the M4 Heathrow J4 (literally 10 minute drive from there) or end of the Picadilly/Metropolitan line, would have to get a bus from there or I might be able to pick you up.
Any questions/more pics please do not hesitate to ask.
