Was watching a GS1 in a sunburst finish on eBay very recently. Originally had a starting bid of £250. No takers (it had lacquer lifting on the neck, a few dings but not abused state).
Got relisted at £225, dropped to £199 starting.
Went for £330 !
Just goes to show, it's all down to timing really.
(I have shifted a fair bit on eBay but I really do despair at the amount of used stuff that goes for new prices. Did me a favour getting rid of some carp fishing gear though).

It really is - it'll come back and bite me on the arse shortly though, I'm funding the GS by selling my 'Fender' Precision bitsa which I fully don't expect to get what it's worth for.The guitar market is in a bad, bad way ... Luckily for you!
