    angels forfend i perpetuate a lame pun thread but i fcking love gyoza - i have special dippy dishes at home for them - and some wraps in the freezer - and some cabbage in the fridge - dammit im gonna get me some lamb mince and gyozify my skinny belly this weekend

    Love 'em too! Couple of weeks ago, i finally got around to making some of my own after having the wraps in the freezer for months. Ended up with about 50 of the fuckers. Suffice to say they didn't last long!

    japanese "dumplings" - mince (generally pork i think - not lamb - been on the curries a lot so am lamb-centric atm) + cabbage (crinkly ideally but i cheat) + garlic + ginger mushed up and wrapped in special gyoza wraps from your local asian grocery - fried a bit then steamed a bit and served with a soy sauce+rice vinegar dip

    they are a side dish usually but if you have enough of them they are a main

    They are fekkin lovely.

    If you nip into one of the many Dim Sum restaurants that seem to have sprung up in recent times they are a staple of the menu.
