    Good to hear you got it sorted, I saw that on the bay (as I'd been looking for a strat body recently too) but reported it due to the issues I had with the listing.

    I'm not even convinced the Fender one is Lake Placid Blue - although I know that some colours, especially blues, often don't come out correctly in photos - it looks more like Ocean Turquoise to me. It is at least a real Fender though.

    I think it is, albeit yellowed a bit, either by age or tungsten lighting.
    I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

    It's a MIM Classic 60s, not a USA RI, so how close it is to "real" LPB might be debatable.
