Nick Cave's new album

Nick Cave is my favourite active musician in the whole damn world, so knowing he has a new album coming out makes me quite a happy bunny.

But I am really surprised how much advertising revenue is being expended on it. This morning all the YouTube videos I watched came with an advert for the album, it's all over Facebook and Pitchfork, the Guardian are streaming it, it's everywhere!

I'm not sure how much of this is targeted advertising based on my personal likes and my accounts on these various websites, but even so - there's a lot of it about.

Kinda futile since I was going to buy the album anyway, ha.
