So, I went to Guitar Center today, looking for a pair of short leads to use with my fx loop. Do you think I could handle that simple task??? Nope. I've come to the conclusion that this place is EEEEVILLL, like kryptonite.

Got the cables, some slightly thinner picks to try, and a glass slide. All was well.

...THEN I saw it: A TC Electronics Corona Chorus in the used cabinet, still with the box. AND a used Pork Loin.

The Corona sounded GREAT- exactly what I wanted from a chorus, only better! It took a couple minutes of twiddling just to see what the knobs did, then one final minor adj to the fx level, and BAM! My jaw dropped right open. I had no idea chorus could sound this good. ( Okay, MAYBE the $2300 USA strat, and the NOS tweed Blues JR didn't hurt either.) Added a bunch of spring reverb, and it was perfect. This is one cool pedal.

The Pork Loin was really good, too. I like that soft clipping sound a lot, but I forced myself to put it back. (rent is due and all...) I can see myself grabbing this one one of these days, but not today.
