I already have the AC, which is a fabulous practise amp for ac30 tones. I've been jonesing for a bassman influenced amp as a gigging amp (maybe a JTM 45 or a Torres amp) for wen my build is done.
The only problem with these Mooer amps is, unlike the pedals, they ain't cheap. But, if this one sounds as good as the AC and is a fairly faithful replica of the bassman tone, it'll be very good indeed. I'll have to try one out if I see one. The AC is an incredible amp, and the insides are beautifully tidy from what I have seen peeking through the gaps. The valve blew up the other day, so when I replace it, I'll know whether the valve sockets are PCB mounted or not (I suspect they are).
Value for money aside (it's 'Mooer' than double the price of a epi valve junior), I need to try one. SOON.

Damn, if they made a mini-Plexi version of this I'd be all over it (not keen on paying Marshall prices for the little 1W heads)!
Yeah that would be awesome. They're not cheap, but they're very good sounding (the AC is anyway) and are loud enough for crunchy rehearsal tones with a sensible drummer, or a solo kinda pub gig. I drive mine at 2/3 volume to get the edge of breakup ton and keep the gain at 1/3. The top boost sounds amazing, too!Originally Posted by PonchoGreg
I've heard that the Plexi circuit is a particularly complex one, and so might not squeeze into such a small enclosure. And mooer love those mini enclosures.
