Excellent question. I've got the picking down okay; it just takes a lot of practice. Finger length has a lot to do with it, though, which is where the sloppiness comes from when I "play" it.

Did the interview on Saturday- such a nice guy! Signed a few things for me, got a photo, and was generally just a very cool guy.

The gig was also excellent- he has Wolfgang Van Halen in his band at the moment, who is a pretty solid bassist...the other two guys in his band are great also- the drummer is crazy!

Support was from Heaven's Basement, and local Scottish band Logan- well worth checking both of those out!
