Well, thankyou... if it wasn't for your expensive signs, I would have continued under the illusion that it was, in fact, a glorious summer's day. Make sure also that the next time it's foggy, you don't forget to mention the fact on your signs - though... I may not be able to see the signs because of the fog.
I assume it wasn't you driving, otherwise posting proof that you were using your phone to shoot video (in poor driving conditions) while at the wheel could be used in evidence against you

One of those signs regularly said "queues after next junction".
As the junction split the motorway in two different directions, it was a waste of electricity, as it gave no information on whether or how to take evasive action or not. It might as well have said "be miserable", as it was just about as much of a downer.
I always wonder what the legal status of the message is. So if it says "max speed 40" is that a valid Road Traffic Act direction?
I wasn't holding any phone whilst driving, though it was me. I have a windscreen mount and the phone records all my journeys in the background. I just copied that clip when I got home.

Later today, a video of someone picking their nose whilst eating a sandwich and indicating a bit late.
A bit of background info... those signs went up about six years ago and there was a kerfuffle at the time as to the cost - I think they spent £7M on them (not each !) and since then, they seem to have been keen to justify their existence as they have almost never displayed any meaningful message. They have, however, displayed "Merry Christmas", "Happy New Year", "Don't Drink & Drive", "Tired ? Take a break" and "Stop Videoing this Sign you Bastard", and alternating these in English and Welsh along the M4. I shit you not. Well, apart from the last one, the rest are true.
