Default WTB: Stereo amp (Nad, Rotel, Marantz etc)

I'm looking for a half-decent budget stereo amp and have a around £50-100 to spend. WHY?

    Cheers

There's someone selling Cambridge Audio amps for 35 on gumtree (East Yorks or South Yorks, can't remember which). Buy an EQ amp and a power amp and he'll discount.

I'm east yorks and I've got a NAD 3020 (I think that's the model) it's sitting spare in the studio - £30 if it's any use to you?

The NAD 3020 was considered "the" amp to have [in the 1980s] if you could not afford an A&R A60 or a Naim Audio amp. IIRC the pre and power are joined by a brass link [one for each channel]. The word on the street is that a small but subtle sound improvement can be had by replacing these brass links with a short cable terminated each end with phono plugs. Enjoy your purchase my friend and wishing you many years good listening.
