Newquay is not my favourite destination, but should be nice before the "run to the sun" mob get there. Then it feels like a VW factory outing.there is a small place between Hayle and St Ives which is lovely called Lelant. Got a beautiful beach called Carbis Bay.
Mate runs a BB there right opposite the main pub. Beautiful walks, regular bus to St Ives and all the fancy restaurants etc.
