Portable recorder

I'm looking for a cheap portable recorder that I can use for recording jams, or taking around to record background sounds, etc. It would be nice if the mic could withstand high SPLs so I can record my own gigs too as I keep having people ask me about it.

It doesn't need to be high quality, just have decent enough clarity to be worthwhile, so I'd look at something under €100.

What is there out there?
