I haven't listened to that for ages, I'll give it a spin tonight. Saw him at the NIA on that tour (with Clarence Gatemouth Brown as support). Great night.

I have been listening to a lot of Taste recently. I suggest you include some in your listening rota...

Listended to Charlie Christian, Derek Trucks, Lonnie Johnson, Blind Willie McTell, Robben Ford.
bb king live at the ol' miss (mississipi university) is a great album.

i'd recommend taj mahal, probably the most overlooked living blues legend. I had the pleasure to meet him once, and surprisingly (given is deep gruff voice) he's quite a small guy.

    Guitarists (in no particular order):

    Johnny "Guitar" Watson
Guitar Slim (both great song writers)
    Freddie King
    Earl King
Jimmie Vaughan (especially with the Fabulous Thunderbirds)
Anson Funderburgh (the albums with Sammy Myers are great)
    Albert Collins
Duke Robillard (not all of his work is blues/jazz, but a great player)
Ronnie Earl (I really like his work with Roomful of Blues, but solo work is great too)
Lonnie Mack (50s Vee with a Bigsby through a Magnatone amp!!!)
Buddy Guy (try finding his early records from the late 50's, and his work on Chess and Vanguard in the 60s)
Otis Rush (the Cobra recordings are amazing)
    Magic Sam (anything!!)
    Hubert Sumlin (Wolf's guitar player)
    T-Bone Walker
    Tiny Grimes
Charlie Baty (Little Charlie and the Nightcats)
