Usually I do use right angled jacks, but I want the tuner really close to the edge so there won't be clearance to get the lead in/out. I'm not keen on drilling holes in it as I do tend to re-arrange my boards quite frequently!

You won't need to with a TU-2 on the input.

I actually used to have one, but sold it when the Polytune Mini came out. That's on my main board (a showman) but I'm setting up a second board on a gigman for those cramped gigs where the showmans a bit ott

A second hand TU2 or 3 will be great.

Yeah I've seen them online. On my main board I use a bit of wood and cover it in velco, much cheaper and does exactly the same job. My reverb pedal at the end of the chain is on one.

Anyway just scored a TU-3 in the classifieds so I'm going down that route.

That's exactly what I did. A design flaw yes but still a good hardy pedal board

I'm just deciding on a tuner for my 'B' board, which will need to be right near the edge of my Diago Gigman. However I'll revert back to my tried and trusted method of covering an off-cut of wood in velcro to raise it up.

Update, got a TU-3 in the classifieds here, and it's input is just the perfect height, so I'm all sorted.
