I used to have an Eventide Timefactor - Incredible delay, replaced it with an m9 purely because it can do other things like reverb an chorus, which is more useful to me live.

Is there any danger of accidentally engaging the looper?

I had a digitech multi fx which I could not use live because my less-than-dainty footwork would accidentally throw it out of stompbox mode into pure silence.

Can anything like that happen with the DL4?

    No

    It's a completely separate mode.

I liked the Duncan De ja vu. They're an oddball, combining a digital and analogue delay with a blend function and tap tempo. The tone I loved. The price tag, I got a digitech digidelay (which is flippin brilliant). Doesn't sound as good as the De ja vu though

I've got the ib Modified version, great pedal and I love the digital read-out for the mS or BPM (something you don't get with the Flashback x4 which I'm sure will be mentioned below at some point soon).

What he says - awesome - also a +0.5 for the DL4 - it IS great its just the foot switches are shite and there is a volume drop when you engage it. But it the easiest to use live that's for sure if you need presets

If you like the dd6 then why not move up to the dd7 and add a little tap tempo switch (home made, bright onion etc) it works for me and its a damn solid pedal with a cracking analog mode.

If you can find one for a price that you're happy with, the T-Rex Replica is simple to use and (IMHO) is worth its reputation. I've had one for over 3 years now and i never think of replacing it.

I loved the echo park too, only thing I would say is that is that it is extremely picky on power supply, if I used it on anything else other than the power supply it was shipped with i found you could get weird digital clock type noises in the signal.
