Faulty Marshall footswitch for my DSL...what replacements?

I repair Mic and Guitar leads all the time for friends it keeps me in beer so a foot switch should be a piece of piss so easy just need a ohm meter and a soldering iron

I had a problem with the lead on mine chopped a bit off and it went again, I sent it to Marshall and the nice man in the service department sent me a new one. Actually it's not a huge job to re-wire it with better quality cable, it needs to be 2 core shielded (strereo) cable. I carry a spare footswitch to gigs.

Doesn't need to be shielded, any 3-core cable such as mains cable can be used, nothing wrong with using stereo shielded stuff though
