Default I had a scare with my Pedalboard!

I was just tuning my guitar throught the TC Polytune which is first in the chain. Suddenly the lights on my Bogner Ecstasy Red and Blue pedals flashed, which I think indicates dying battery, then the light on my Suhr Jack Rabbit went to red indicating dying battery I think.

I did a test to see if all the pedals were still working and they were, even the Bogners, except for the Suhr that stayed in the Red Light mode and would not function(the Suhr is last in the chain if that helps).

My PP2+ Powers all my pedals, I have no batteries in any of them and I have Gaffer tape on the clips so they don't short out.

I then unplugged the pedalboard and plugged it back in again and the Suhr worked fine as well as the Bogners too. All the connections underneath the board were fine too when I checked after unplugging which makes sense as something had to power the red light on the Suhr.

This is weird, why would something like that happen? Batteries (power) should not be an issue with the PP2+

BTW I have not overloaded the PP2+, everything comes well within each outputs mA rating, so that's out too.

It's as though when the Bogners flashed it did something to the Suhr or maybe a glich with the Tuner. Another weird thing is that I have a pedal inbetween the Bogners and the Suhr, which was also not affected, this is an MXR Micro Flange if you were wondering.

This has never happened before and has worried me a little, my entire board contents are worth £2000 plus. It's ok now but I will be anxious next time I play.

Can anyone shed some light on this ?

I don't know, maybe. The laptop stayed on plugged into the mains, but I suppose the battery would have kept that switched on. I don't have much to go on there I'm afraid.

Was the mains cable in tight? Maybe it got a bit of a wiggle?
The Reverend Lord Henry was not one of those new-fangled parsons who carry the principles of their vocation uncomfortably into private life.

Possible, it seems ok now. I just hope it doesn't happen again.
