FS Cheap: Whipple Wah in Dunlop Crybaby case (needs repair)
I am selling a true bypass whipple wah that is in a Dunlop Crybaby enclosure. I purchased it last year from this forum, was a nice pedal however I found I prefer swithcless wah pedals in which I now have an Ibanez Weeping Demon to suit my wah needs.
Before I was planning to sell it though a few months ago it developed an issue that in terms of fixing goes beyond my very basic knowledge in this area. Basically as I was switching it off something popped, which means that when it is turned off/bypassed, the amp makes no sound at all as if whatever has happened blocks the rest of the signal chain, but when turned on everything works fine. However that's the problem, unless you want wah on all the time (which I'm fairly sure you won't) then it doesn't work properly. So it kinda half works.
I used my very limited knowledge and had a go, thinking it was the switch that had partially gone, so I purchased a new 3pdt switch and got round to changing it and wiring it the same today, to no avail as the problem still persists, and now I'm out of ideas.
Chances are it is probably a simple resistor or capacitor that may need changing, but again I don't know and I need to shift it to at least may be get a little cash and clear some more space. So someone in the know in this area could benefit here. Pricewise not fully sure given it is not fully working, £15 posted shall we say? If anyone is interested let me know.
