    My bright box is gash. Any routers the ISP provides seem to be a bit poo. They never give full N speeds either.

    i managed to change mine to channel 4 and it seems a bit better. I'm going to try channel 9 now. such fun

    Much better sticking to channel 1, 6 or 12 to give you a full free spectrum around you.

    Can you see what channels your neighbours are using? My Netgear wireless dongle allows me to display all the local networks, so I can choose an empty channel.

    (There was a piece on the BBC website about wi-fi crowding in London, and how free wi-fi from councils may make it worse...)
