Fair dues to you man. It is way more fun if you have a gang with you though.

Yes, especially if it involves beer .

That kind of activity usually consists of about an hour of standing round drinking a beer while assessing the problem, two minutes of actually carrying the shed, then another couple of hours of standing around drinking the rest of the beer and congratulating each other on how strong you are and how heavy it was, when it really wasn't .

You have to make sure you do the moving after only the first beer though, or the shed does weigh twice as much...

If you're on your own it consists of two hours of very careful planning and laying out the timbers, an hour of effort to move it, half an hour to put all the timbers away again, and then the rest of the day to have a sit-down and drink *all* the beer .

    Try moving Shed with mates.
Step on Nail you didn't see, and hobble around for a few weeks.
Shed you are trying to move falls appart in a big heap.
    Burn the old shed
Go to your local garden centre and buy a new shed
Build new shed in the correct location
Then have wife say. "Actually I prefer it where it was!"

    Shed update!

It's done. In the end we dismantled, moved, repaired and rebuilt it.

It had developed quite a lean, so we've straightened and braced some of the panels, added a new beam running across the roof and re- felted it.

Job done. Now to enjoy what's left of the bank holiday!

Next time you build a shed, get one on wheels.
