    I know the ticket prices will be worth it, but does no-one else have a problem paying 10% and more for booking fees? Sickens me.

    Ive just paid nearly £7 on a £22 Johnny Marr ticket. Dont like, dont go sadly.

    Yep. Sad but true.

    Another example of rip-off Britain at work. And we just sit here and take it like obedient little subjects.

    The price of attended concerts in recent years has shot up to ridiculous levels. I know artists aren't making as much from record sales as they used to, but the ticket prices are ensuring that concert going is fast becoming the reserve of the bourgeoisie.

    Before we know it all audiences are going to look like they're there to see Phil Collins or Band Du Lac. Loads of middle aged white folk with their t-shirts tucked into their stonewashed denims, clapping on the off-beat.

    I'm sure I heard on Radio 4's Moneybox the other day that if a ticket is advertised at a certain price it MUST be available at that price somewhere. Usually at the box office, although I'm sure that I've been charged an 'admin fee' even at the box office before now.
