    Anyway, my point is that often great music is made by terrible people and terrible music is often made by very nice people.

    If I bought music by people based on how nice they seemed, my favourite bands would most likely be Coldplay and Travis.

    Thankfully, they are not!

    Level 42 ran a bass sequencer and he kind of slapped and twanged along with it.
    Only band I have ever seen live where I thought, this band actually need a bass player.
    All twang pop and bass synths, very little actually carrying the songs.

    Great player, although I never massively connected with that style of music. I think that a strength was that (IMO) he put the songs before the technique. The band were always about the songs rather than flash bass playing.

    I TOTALLY disagree with that! The Bass drives Level 42 songs amazingly.
