Help! Need a good tab for Over the Hill

Hi everyone

I have been charged with playing ate friend's wedding in August. We have agreed on Bron yr Aur by Led Zep which is fine but I also need to do Over the Hill by John Martyn.

The guitar sounds simple enough but I'm not sure of the tuning or the specific fingering. Also need an idea of the mandolin part but there is nothing out there on the web which can help me.

Does anyone have a tab for this track I could check out?

Tuning was Open D as far as I recall

But rather than attempt to copy JM's note for note (which he never did anyway - check out some live versions of his songs) try to capture the feel of the song. There's only really 3 shapes to use

Use these as a basis for the song and try adding extra notes, maybe follow the vocal melody/rhythm in places, and generally have fun with it.
