Default FS: 70's Guyatone Reverb Jazz GA1050

    SOLD PENDING BETTER WEATHER!

Not really sure what to say about this amp. It is a 40w 2 6L6 amp that I have gigged with for quite a while.

I have had it for about 15 years and it has been something of a conversation piece at gigs. It was originally a 2x12 combo but the cabinet was falling apart and I was using it through an external 2x12 cab so chopped it to a head, made a baffle for the grille cloth out of MDF and screwed the badge on. It came with a Fender badge by the way, I never had a guyatone one. I have the original speaker baffle that will go with the amp.

It is apparently a Pro Reverb clone but without the valve rectifier but this is purely based on some online info.

It was serviced a couple of years ago by Chris Newman who is very good indeed. I will get it to him for a check up over the next few days just to be sure.

It sounds fantastic, the reverb is massive and the vibrato is cool as.

I wont be asking a lot for it by the way but if you are looking for a loud Silverface type amp with a bit of character this could be spot on.

    Any questions please ask.

This was on hold but is available again.

    Hello Mr. Photek,

Would you please PM me a ball park figure, also are the reverb and vibrato foot switchable?

Very cool! Why do I suddenly keep seeing amps I like when I have too many already and funds are tight...

Cheers guys. The guitar I was after has sold so I would be interested in trades as well. An amp or possibly a guitar of some sort.

    Mark.

I am not really after anything in particular. I have my guitars and amps sorted but as if that would stop me! The only things I don't like guitar wise are vintage skinny frets and radius or skinny necks and I don't like Epiphone guitar for some reason either
