    Default NPD- Roger Mayer

Bit late on this one. Won a Roger Mayer Voodoo Blues from Peach over the weekend. Plugged it in for the first time at Gearfest and was mildly impressed. Having played it more at home I really like it.

It's sort of like a TS-type overdrive, but without the mid hump and far more interesting IMO.

The RM case design is a bit annoying, as you can't use DC in and 2 right-angled jacks to put it on a pedalboard, but it's so damn big that it won't be going on my main board anyway. Time for a B Rig...

Lucky you, I missed that one.

It certainly looks very pedalboard unfriendly, I wonder how full it is inside.

I love Roger Mayer's stuff, but I have to admit they're not the easiest to get on a compact pedalboard.

I have a Voodoo Vibe that I literally built my board around, having first modded it to bring the jacks onto the front and right-hand side...

Just had a quick blast through the Mustang. This thing is the best Telecaster fatten-upperer I've ever used. Keeps the snarl and bite but adds girth and sustain. Really really like it.
