I'd have no trouble with the DE:HR bosses if there was a sneaky way to kill each one- drop a chandelier on them, electrify the floor, etc. Sounds like the main dev and publisher are aware of that particular shitefest so hopefully the next one will be better
They actually wrote some DLC where you could do that so I'm sure they are aware.
