    Default Wilson T King

seems to be a lot of interest in this British blues-rocker Stateside but not so much here. Just starting to listen to him and a long way from his blues roots but interesting:

Read an interview with this guy in the latest guitarist magazine, was really interested to hear his take on blues music. Found the alt-rock stuff he talked about being influenced by mixed with the blues guitar really interesting!

Ahh, I stopped with Guitarist a few months ago so missed this. There is quite a lot of his new album on youtube ( put on by Wilson himself I think). It is an interesting mix of blues-rock guitar and non blues influences. Either the best of both worlds or the worst of both depending upon your point of view!

Err, no. I shall have to think of one. BTW the other tracks are a bit less rocky than the one I posted, not sure I put up the most typical one.

Okay, if you can hang on a couple of days before listening to this then it will be Easter. The modern, two half shell, method of making chocolate Easter eggs was developed at the Cadbury factory in Birmingham.

Not my best work but I feel I got there in the end.

Hey, you mentioned both chocolate and Cadbury, that's good enough for me!

I can offer a tentative Midlands connection. He's originally from Newark, Notts and will be playing his only UK gig of the year at Newark Blues Festival in September.
