    Default Testing the water.............SPAM

Due to the arrival of my Boss GT8, I've had a rethink regarding my pedalboard. The one stomp solution for effects and multi channel amp support really appeals. And I mean REALLY appeals! The whole MIDI and effects thing in 1 button does it for me! (LOL!)

So, as a result, I'm using my other pedals less and less. This combined with the fact that I can't actually fit everything plus the powerbank on the board means that I'm back in the land of batteries!

Therefore, I'm testing the water regarding all my other pedals. I've recently got rid of my JD Wah (pending payment!) but the rest is up for grabs :

BYOC Tube Screamer kit. It's fully finished to TS808 specs. I'm quite proud of the work I've done and it's been used a few times with the band and works fine. Having owned an 808, I can't tell the difference. If anything, the BYOC probably sounds better. Much more like the TS sound I have in my head. Excellent little pedal. Comes with all the components supplied by BYOC to mod the hell out of it. It's painted a bright yellow colour. Pics can be supplied. I'm looking for £40 for this.

BYOC Compressor. Built it, checked it then boxed it. Never actually got round to integrating it into my set up. Painted a dark green and is the 3 knob version. From memory, they don't make this one anymore. Again I'm looking for £40.

Boss TU2 Tuner. This is practically brand new. Nothing much to say about this. Industry standard tuner that you've probably all heard off! The cheapest I can find new is near £60 and on fleabay they go for £50. Call it £45 and it's yours.

Boss MT2 Metal Zone. Been for sale for a while now. Mental EQ and awesome modern metal tones. £30 and it's yours.

P&P is free on them all.

    Thankyouplease.

Keep your TU-2. The GT-8 Tuner is utter utter rubbish. Though I'm tempted by it since I need one.

I haven't actually tried the G8 tuner yet to be honest. So it might be shit. Good point.

I'll dangle the carrot until this evening when I actually try it! Then I'll make a final decision.

I'll take the TU-2 if you really want to shift it, because I need one for the new rig, but I have a GT-8 and wouldnt recommend the tuner at all. It amazes me that boss can make both the Industry Standard in tuning and such a horrible tuner at the same time.

I'll give it a bash tonight, and if it's that bad, it's yours.

    Ok?
