I buy big batches from Hong Kong, or individual/small quantities from Langrex. HK ones you are a bit stuck with what you get, but even if I ahve to bin some preamp valves, they work out cheaper. Langrex are dead good with returns.

a huge - 1 to Hotrox , bloody useless service and generally unpleasant to deal with , a great many of my valve amp owning bretheren would rather set fire to their money than give it to them , Watford , good stock , but overpriced on the whole , ebay is your friend when it comes to valves in the UK , or find a good amp tech and I stress GOOD Amp Tech and see what he can get .

Well done Hotrox you've done yourselves out of a good bit of custom
Lucky you Karltone £215 order coming your way!

Thanks for your input people always appreciated

Good decision. Karltone is a great vendor, friendly and helpful and ready to offer advice and opinions if you want them.
Somewhere, somehow, somebody must've kicked you around some
