    Default WTB Bi-wire speaker cable

I must be developing a cable fetish (see my other post for fancy guitar leads)!

Now its my speakers that are insulting my highly-tuned ears. They have a bi-wire facility which I am not exploiting - has anyone got any spare lying around? I need a long length (ooh, er!) - approx 2 x 7m lengths.

Don't you just use two runs?

That's what I've done. Atlas Element 2.0 £2p/m. Good stuff.

Junkies. The stuff I use is about 20p a metre and good for 2kW into 8 ohms.

A single run of decent cable is generally better than bi-wire IMHO. Junk the brass links on the speakers and replace them with short offcuts of your speaker cable.

    Good points guys.

I want to keep it neat with one cable as it is quite visible.

I've used quad-core speaker cable before with good results - usually when going to a co-located sub/top pair for neatness and ease of running. Plus the stuff I've used has pink insulation so it's easy to find in a big bundle of black cables...
