Wow, thanks a lot, guys. This should keep me busy. I can always really on you all

Today, whilst using Justin's book, and then playing a few of the songs from his songbook, I realised just how far my chord changing had come since starting the method! Of course, it also shows how I managed to scrap by beforehand I was changing between chords I'd have found tricky, with ease. I just need to stay focused, keep at it and not get sidetracked by other tuition materials!

    Cheers

    Howlin' Wolf London Sessions
    Muddy Waters London Sessions
    Muddy Waters Live at Newport
Muddy Waters Hoochie Coochie Man(a kind of greatest hits re-imagined, produced by Johnny Winter - it's awesome !)
Rory Gallagher - Calling Card, Live Europe, Irish Tour 74
JJ Cale - anything. My fave is Travel-log
Johnny Winter - Guitar Slinger, Winter of '88
John Mayall & BB - Hard Road (hear Peter Green surpass Eric - just a year or so after "Beano")

or Hard Again, which was the Muddy come back produced by Johnny.

The London Sessions albums tend to be regarded as no go areas by the purists although they are probably an easier route to get into Muddy and Wolf than the grainy 1950's Chess recordings. Probably just a health warning that they aren't very representative of those artists.

No Muddy Waters collection is complete without 'Folk Singer'.

Uh oh, I hope not, it's hard to keep up with all the suggestions

Thanks very much for all the suggestions. I've already discovered that I love 'Live at the Regal' and Freddie King! The only trouble is, I fancy having them on vinyl....it appears 'Hide Away and Dance Away' is available as new vinyl, but is about £13! I don't pay that for vinyl
