Default SOLD: Fender Stratocaster Plus 1988

1988 (early "E4" serial number) Strat Plus in vintage white finish that's aged over the years to become a much deeper yellow shade.

    Plenty more photos here: http://s1357.beta.photobucket.com/us...her66/library/

The colour is difficult to photograph and is actually a bit darker than some of the photos suggest.
There are a couple of minor dinks and scratches on the body but nothing through to the wood and in reasonable condition for it's age. The most significant knock is to the side of the fretboard which I've photographed. It's never bothered me and I can't feel it when playing.

It has LSR nut kit which was professionally fitted but the original Wilkinson is included should you wish to revert to that.

It has a John Cruz neck stamp just about visible. I believe he's something or other in the Custom Shop these days so maybe it's of interest.

Have just refitted the original Lace Sensor gold pickups. Only other mod is that the TBX tone control went about 10 years ago and it was replaced but does not now affect the middle pickup (i.e. bridge only).

Has been set up (including fret dress) a year or so ago for .010 strings. Comes with original Fender hard case.

    Edit: Corrected photobucket link.
Also, forgot to add that the original TBX pot was (professionally) swapped out when it broke. When it was replaced I asked for it not to be connected to the middle pickup as I prefer that "wide open". It's a relatively quick mod to return to stock wiring.

It is the most shattering experience of a young man's life, when one morning he awakes, and quite reasonably says to himself: "I will never play the Dane"

I really like these (essentially the first Jeff Beck Strat). Saw him play a Sea Foam Green one at the Manchester Apollo in 1990. Price seems really fair. Good luck with the sale.

Quick bump for a custard-coloured slice of Fender's history.
A highly regarded, modern-era classic for the price of a couple of boutique stompboxes and a trip to the pictures!

Thanks for the comments. Just trying to be realistic regarding price, especially considering there are no sellers fees.
It won't be the end of the world if it doesn't sell!

EDIT: ON HOLD (Didn't check my PMs!)
