Who remembers This tune?
Ok, putting my head on the block a bit here, I know its a from an old childrens TV show, but the music of Freddie Phillips could stand out on its own, he was a wonderful guitarist and composer. This guy here on youtube does a really nice job of covering what to me, is more than a simple tune for children, its a very pleasent classical piece in its own merit. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=b0aJO_M_5e8

OK Ive managed to get to it from a different angle.................I certainly remember the music - takes me waaaay backbut as for 'his' bit - looks to me like he's just playing some lead notes over a 'looped' chord or two.........nothing overly clever or special
or am I missing something ?!?

If you ever get a chance to see a Richard Durrant concert, you might get to see him do a whole segment of Freddie Phillips' music...'twas the highlight of my gig-going so far this year
