    Default G-System - rumour mill

    - would explain why five of these have been sold recently for about £500 each whereas they were holding their prices solidly since 2008.

    Seriously nice pieces of equipment.

They could do with tweaking the Nova system as well. I've always been slightly interested in them save for lack of a looper and the need for easier editing.

    Or

A Tone print multi, like the X4, but where you can put any effect in the slots plus tuner etc.

Sorry, nothing to add on the G-system!

It's such a nuisance buying the current revision of anything; that constant feeling of panic that you got a bad deal as soon as upgrades are on the cards. I bought my G-system for 900 quid only a year ago :-(
Oh well, I still like it and the money's history. I would have spent the extra 400 on crap anyway.

Well that's it, if you like it and have had a years worth of use out of it it's already payed part of the cost back. Plus the upgraded version might cost more.

Xactly. For some reason I'm tempted to buy one for 500 quid just to get an average of 700! Now that's silly isn't it?

Am I missing the point here? - that link is all just rumour from TC forum members.....

I hope they do release a new GS but as it is now, I'm more than happy with mine, a lot of the "issues" with the GS is down to people thinking its a plug'n'play product - it isn't!!! (even though I got mine integrated and working within a couple of hours!!)

Trouble these days is that electronics prosucts devalue so fast. No reflection on their quality. See axefx and the effect when afx2 came out. I would absolutely love a G system.
The new one will have tone prints in addition to the bells n whistles. Plus it will no doubt have a programming matrix similar to guitar rig.

Speculation indeed, but there do seem to be a number of g systems up for sale at bargain prixes, so fuelling the rumours.

They are worth their money, tmm, but my GAS fund is finite and I want a full rig, so it all depends on what the other bits set me back if I can get one.

I think the price drop is more to do with the current price drops across the board and some people going back to "basics" with pedals etc.

Mine was an ex-endorsee model so I had it for peanuts, best move I have ever made...as long as you keep in mind my ramblings above about plug'n'play...

I was close to buying one again but held off purely for this reason that there is a new unit on the horizon, would also explain why most of the shops are doing a brand new g system with a nova drive for £995,and maybe theres another nova system too as they are only £300 odd new, personally i wish they would do toneprint multi with the same sort of layout as a line 6 m9, i would love something like this or an improved g system or nova system with toneprints and looper that would be ace
