Default Basic 'drum sounds' machine wanted

As a follow on from my Help with the Blues post, does anybody have a very basic pedal/box that has drum sounds. Not a drum machine, they are too complicated for me. A basic multi FX pedal or something like that that has various drum/rhythm patterns such as Waltz, Foxtrot, Rock, Blues etc. with variable tempo. Years ago a friend had a Zoom multi FX pedal that had such a feature. Not sure of its name. Any suggestions are welcome, if you have such a device and want to rehome it, send me a PM with a price and I will get back to you.

    Thanks.

Most of the Digitech RP multifx have a basic rhythm function built in and they go for peanuts on Ebay

How much you looking to spend? You can get a excellent multi FX with a basic drum machine built in - brand new for £169 - its called the Digitech GNX3000 and I paid £300 for mine and it was worth every penny! The Drum machine is basic admittedly but thats all your goin to get in a multi FX anyway. But still £169 isnt a lot for a fab multi fx with drums!!

Nothing wrong with drum machines in my book. Just select your beat of choice and press play. Easy on an SR16. I found the drums on my old zoom mfx to much of a fiddle and ended up flogging it.

The Roger Lynn AdreniLynn is the most awesome rhythm/guitar tool there is. If you're intimidated by drum machines it''ll fuck your head though

I'd agree with downfader though, the SR16 is really easy to use and as you get more advanced you won't be limited by it (goes for most drum machines really). You'd need something to run it through unless you practice on headphones though. Just for fiddling about most mid-late 90s multiFX have rhythm machines built-in (Zoom (bleugh) and Digitech's RP series (yum) spring to mind).
