    Default Homebrew anyone?

I`m thinking of giving some home brewing a go as I fancy some home brewed cider , I have been looking at some starter kits on Home brew online and was wondering if there are any home brewers on here.

    Anyone?

Used to be years ago - beer mainly, but have done wine.

Was good fun, but eventually time demands meant I couldn't keep it up. Shame really, as it worked out to about 10p per pint.

a mate back in the old town used to be right up on it, used to blend/mix different kits to get hybrid brews, like mixing mild and bitter, stout and bitter etc etc

It was "ok" - that being said, it was more 'gassy john smiths' than real ale

I've done beer and wine in the past and made some decent stuff ... ended up getting some serious gear and mashing the stuff. It can become addictive ..
