    I want to hear what you did with your DR-660.

    Post up samples immediately.

    I could honestly never get my head around making patterns in the thing, I only ever used mine as a sound module.

    To be honest, all I have done is sampled off all the sounds I like. But apart from using it as a pad controller to play Redrum ( I got that working in the end, you had to create a new kit and assign a midi note # for each pad, by default they don't map ) I have just made modified patterns and my own patterns. I then send the midi to control my drums on GM mapped NNXT kits that I have made. Some of the patterns have just changed the way I'm programming drums too, esp when it comes to fills.

    I haven't done any crazy squarepusher-esque style wizardry if that's what you mean. I haven't used many of the sounds 'as is', although there are some good ones. It's cool how you can layer stuff as well.
