    Default Samson S-Monitor ?

Anyone have any experience of these things ?

Looks ideal for me... hook it up to a pair of in-ear buds and I can dispense with the stage wedge.

Yeah, i've got one. For the money, they're really rather good.

The only problem i've ever had is with the PSU - it's a chunky plastic 13A plug & PSU, and it actually came in half once. Glued it back together and it was (and still is) fine.

3 things to remember though -
    • set the volume control somewhere sensible, otherwise you'll knacker your ears
    • get some reasonable quality earphones for it, you'll notice the difference
    • get an extension lead for your earphones - it's damn useful when you go over the other side of stage to talk to the other guitarist!

Thanks chaps. I may just purchase said item.... once I've found a reasonable pair of in-ear's that don't cost a bazillion quid. (bazillion = over £50 ;-) )
