    Default cheap new MXR pedal

    http://www.premierguitar.com/Magazin...ion_Pedal.aspx

sounds pretty good...not sure what the price will be in the UK, but $50 is low price. I think this might be MXR doing a low price point range (all with the graphic around the footswitch) to compete with influx of the chinese pedals like Joyo's, Mooer etc

seems to be a Guitarcentre only pedal.

oh shit...didn't notice that bit, i went straight to the video.

Then its probably just a re-branded version of another pedal...I wonder which one it is...

They did this ages ago where they repackaged a Distortion III into a black enclosure with the same tribal graphic and called it Classic Distortion and sold for really cheap at Guitar centre.

That pedal sounds bad ASS! I'm now gassing for one- thanks a lot...

Guitar Center has several "Exclusive" pedals, and not all are strait up re-wraps. For instance, the Arena Reveb from TC. This has a different selection of reverbs than the Hall Of Fame does. The first half of the selector knob is the same, but the second half has different stuff. I bought one recently, and it sounds great. However, there is NO owner's manual included in the box, and TC does not have it on their website. So, I'm not sure WHAT some of the stuff is supposed to be/do... I think it does focus on the "bigger" sounding ambient reverbs.

sounds more like a ds1 to me. considering the badass '78 is a glorified ds1 (far as i'm aware), i'd guess that it's probably based on it. But could be wrong, it could be anything, after all.
