    Default Hannibal

    Anyone watching it?

I'm liking the interactions between Will and Hannibal, retrospectively pre Red Dragon. And Jack Crawford's constant as the "catch at any cost" FBI boss.

Mads Mikkelsen is a great Hannibal, and it doesn't hurt that Caroline Dhavernas is in the cast

I was suspicious before I started watching it, thought it might be too "franchised", but it's rather good.
Light travels faster than sound, some people appear bright until they make a noise.

Now the stuff I've been watching has ended ill probably start on this. I thought Red Dragon was strongest of the books so it may be a winner.

Ps: I hated Hannibal as portrayed by Hopkins. Hammy overacting.

    Tis awesome, very dark.

I like how Hannibal and Graham are complicated characters, rather than just 1D baddie/goodie like in the films.

Hannibal isn't a 1d baddie in the films.

Well yes, he's got a bit more about him than a Die Hard villain, but it's not as complex as in the books or in this TV series.

I found Hopkins a lot more likeable as Hannibal, which was part of the appeal to me.
