They're a fantastic band. Loved their music ever since someone lent me 'Aborescence' a few years ago.

Arborescence was the first I heard of them too.
"There's a Planet Here" made me go and buy the CD - the bass line puts me in a special place

    Awesome guitarist - fantastic phrasing.
A lot of System 7 is quite techno, in that Planet Dog sort of way. Believe Gong are part of Meltdown this year.

Like other long-lasting acts, their style has modified with time. Some of their stuff sounded like they'd been listening to early Camel, which I rather liked. Other stuff, as other contributors have said, appeared to be influenced by Steve Hillage/Gong/Hawkwind. Another band who used to gig with the Ozrics was The Magic Mushroom Band and they definitely had similar influences.

I've been a fan of them for years and years, 20+ maybe?

While they have done some more keyboard based albums their sound has remained unique and interesting. Not many other bands that hit the mark in the same way.

I've been trying to get a few people together to write, rehearse or record some material like theirs but is never easy when you have this ineradicable band still going.

Ozrics now have 3/4 of the band as family members. A track from their album last year.

Indeed. Good choice of song from the last album. I actually sat down and figured some of it out today. Key changes and everything.
