    I think a lot of people have got wise to studio recordings now, your average 14 year old with Garage Band and a few tuning plugings can make complete beginners sound fantastic

    Agree with the live photos though, it's pointless taking the old "band standing against a brick wall" type shot, live photos look so much better.

    I picked up a Digi001 the other week and will be doing a demo or three in Pro Tools over the next few weeks.

    Have to wait until pay-day (this Friday!) before I can get a set of drum mics, clips, etc and then we'll be good to go.

    Will post the results here, but it'll definitely be a "live" recording............just without the crowd ambience?!
